Really simple patch. Cv from nlc sloth to quantizer (doepfer a-156), via attenuverter. Triggers from doepfer a-160(161). But a tone is only generated if there is a change in cv from sloth. Its not 100% generative :-) first there is no cv connected to the oscillators. I connect them one at a time. The noise is also controlled by the same sloth. The analog delay is connected to barton musical circuits (bmc) 4 quadrant multiplier and panner acting as a panner, controlled by nlc jerk off (still a sick name on a great module). The ehh drum sound is generated by bmc decaying analog noise.

Here is the sound of a 50-caliber barrett rifle being fired. You'll first hear the sound of the bolt being pulled back. Really cool sound if you can listen on some nice big speakers. Recorded with my handy zoom h4n using a rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone. I was standing about 20 feet from the rifle, and i still have the input gain turned way down to about 30, just to make sure the circuitry was not overloaded. Also, since this was in a big, wide-open field, you get a nice echo.

A rifle being dropped on the floor 3 times. Very metallic-y sounding drop sound with tons of bass. This one was sort of a happy accident. I was recording some ak foley with an airsoft gun i had when i accidentally dropped it. The sound it made turned out so good that i ended up using it for this. Crowded diner/restaurant in tokyo. This is a stereo mixdown of a 4 channel surround recording i took in a crowded restaurant in tokyo. You can hear a a lot of conversations, some waiters and lots of utensil sounds. Most of the conversation in the background is in japanese. I think i heard some english when i edited this, but i'm not really sure. Anyways, good stuff. Mics were places at a 20 degree and 90 degree angle and then later mixed down to stereo. Enjoy!.

This is a recording of the scariest/weirdest computer crash i ever experienced. I was working in after affects when the screen froze and this sound started blaring through my headphones. I unplugged myself and let it play through the speakers then decided it was really neat sounding, so i took a mic and recorded it.
